Hello Everyone,
I hope this message finds each of you well.
First, I want to apologize for the delay in releasing my new CD. It is absolutely completed, however, I have not yet finished the casing. As you know, I'm President of the Las Vegas Highrise and Condo Association in addition to serving as Sales Manager for the $170 million dollar "juhl" project in downtown Las Vegas. In between these gigs (which take up more than their fair share of my time), I've also been busy presenting several shows in Las Vegas in addition to producing the upcoming Benefit Concert for the Center of Las Vegas (for the third year in a row). In short, I need to be cloned. The CD will be out before the end of the year (I promise).
Now, on to REALLY big news! I have a brand new radio show coming out in Las Vegas entitled "Downtown Living with John Eisele" and then I have a one hour radio show coming out (camp at its best) called "Getting Drunk With Johnathan." The latter will absolutely advocate responsible drinking and it's going to be a lot of fun! We will be sponsored by Taxi Companies throughout the valley and we will feature a new bar each week. I'm going to have lots of guests join me in the studio and we'll always begin each broadcast with the popping of a cork! Our tag line will be "We take a cab so don't get MADD." I am really looking forward to getting my hands on the station microphone.
Now, on to more personal (and insignificant news). For one, my friends have won the battle with my pony tail and my hair is completely short. I have to say…"what the hell was I thinking for the past ten years?" Well, if you have any stock in Drano, dump it (pardon the pun).
Also, this Thanksgiving, Mom and Chuck are opening the house up to all the displaced "Vegas Boys" and we're having a big Thanksgiving Day bash at the house. It should be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to seeing them again…the years certainly go by a lot faster than they used to.
Oh - I also have to give a product endorsement…..You have to try the new "Sweet Tea" vodka! It's out of this world (and you will be too after a few). Seriously, try it…you'll like it. I'm sure we'll get a lot of use out of it during the radio show. Also - go see "9 to 5 The Musical on Broadway"; the music and comedy are fantastic.
Also, for those of you that didn't get the pleasure of seeing my first scorpion photo; it was pretty nasty. I came across it while walking off McDonalds in the park. Tragically, the park is only two blocks from my house and I am now officially freaked out about any of them getting in the house (think a nasty crawfish with an attitude and big ass tail).
Finally, I am going to get to see a lot of you this fall/winter. Lizzie, Peggy, my folks, and several old high school friends are all poised to visit Sin City 2009. I am looking forward to spending time with each of you (and Jeff, sorry for missing you during your visit). Well, that's it for now. Stay well and keep in touch!
Love, Johnathan.
